Take a walk along the seafront promenade and watch the local crab and lobster fishermen bring in their daily catch or experience the magnificent sea views from Cromer Pier – Cromer is the only place in England where you can see the sun rise and set over the sea, get cultural at the Cromer Musuem and learn all about the lifeboats and Henry Blogg at the lifeboat museum, experience shopping in the independently owned stores and art galleries in the town or relax in one of the cafes or pubs around town. Return to the Pier in the evening and take in a show at the traditional end of Pier theatre, having eaten an evening meal at the hotel at a time to suit you.
Or why not get away from it all in the fantastic Norfolk countryside, easily accessible by public transport or by car. Indulge in the heritage of the magnificent National Trust properties at Felbrigg Hall and Blickling, explore the georgous Georgian town of Holt with its upmarket antique stops, homeware stores and deli’s to name a few. Or for something a bit different, get fishy with some marine life and go seal watching from Blakeney or twitchy with bird watching in Cley.
