Fire Safety

Please take time to familiarise yourself with the fire safety procedure displayed in your room.

Detection of Fire – should you discover a fire please raise the alarm. Fire call points are strategically situated around the hotel. Press the ‘black spot’ marked between the arrows and the alarm will be activated (a continuous ringing sound).

Fire extinguishers can also be found in the corridors, please use them if it is safe to attempt to fight the fire, if not, please evacuate the building.

If you are unable to leave your room please close the door, but do not lock it. Open a window and attract attention.

Emergency meeting point – Should there be an emergency, you will hear a continuous ringing sound. If it is safe to do so, please evacuate your room via the emergency exit routes posted or via the main stairwell and leave the building via the main door. Please congregate on the pavement in front of the customer car park.

We would ask all guests to familiarise themselves with the FIRE EXITS within the building.

TV – Despite the introduction of digital tv Cromer is in one of those unique spots where our television signal is not the best and where weather plays a great part in the quality of your tv picture. Both wintery days and the summer sunshine can affect the tv picture dramatically. All tv’s have Freeview channels accessible via the source button. You will notice that our booster aerial picks up Yorkshire television, this is out of our control!

Mobile phone/USB charging points – each room has at least one plug socket with extra usb charging slots for your phones/devices.

Wi-Fi internet access – is available in all public rooms and bedrooms. Please check for the strongest signal as the booster signals vary around the hotel.
